Schools in New Jersey Near Fort Monmouth
Originally called Camp Little Silver, Fort Monmouth sits a few miles from the Jersey shore, 40 miles south of Newark. Supporting a unique community of 40,000 members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Reserves including employees, contractors, active military and family members, and retirees, Fort Monmouth offers services and amenities including:

While there are no on-base Fort Monmouth colleges, the surrounding community hosts a number of schools: Brookdale Community College, Ocean County Community College, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Monmouth University--and there are of course online education options as well.
