Set time aside for praising.

ON-THE-SPOT CORRECTIONS

1. Tell soldier actions observed.

2. Tell why action is wrong.

3. Show how to perform.

4. Encourage soldier to continue.

GUIDELINES FOR CORRECTIONS

Correct in private.

Attack the performance.

Give one correction at a time.

When the correction is over, it’s over.
