Today we had a class on army radio communication. Easy stuff. After that, we had our first real road march. This one was 3 kilometers. We walked by a graduation of BCT. I saw parents, girlfriends, families, people my age in normal clothes, etc. It made me realize more that I miss all of you.
The march was easy. We had some weight on us, but still, no biggie. Later, we practiced on our rifles. It was overwhelming yesterday to learn all the moves. I thought it would take me forever, but I’m becoming very good at it. I can do the 7 count weapons inspection check with no problem.
Tomorrow’s gonna suck. It will be the funnest day so far because there is an obstacle course, but guess what? I have kitchen police. That means I work in the kitchen all day either washing dishes, cleaning up, or directing chow traffic. Two people from every platoon have to do it everyday. Just my luck. I’m hoping that I’ll get off for the obstacle course since we’re getting bag lunches, which were already made tonight.
I’m hoping the D.S. does mail call later. Maybe you all actually remember me.
