We did night vision at night. We just walked a little with night vision goggles. Everything looked green. Alienrific. Sleeping sucked. Very uncomfortable. I’m too lazy to take out my sleeping bag. I slept with Isabella and at least 100 species of bugs. The next day sucked ***. We had to wear our gas mask and protective suit for four hours. My brain was getting so little oxygen, I thought I was going to pass out. I had a headache from the tightness of the mask. I can honestly say that was the hardest part of BCT. Some people thought the marches were the toughest thing. I had such a rough time with the mask because I hate feeling trapped.
Later we did a land navigation course. Just like the first one back in red or white phase. We did crappy on it. Now it’s only 1520. What a long day. It’s half over though. Tomorrow is our last full day of FTX. The next morning at 0100 we march out of this biatch. I don’t like camping out. I’m a city boy for life.
