BCT Day 51

Last night kicked ass. DS Boston gave us two and a half hours of personal time. He let us go to bed as early as 1930. I had two pairs of boots to shine, but I was sleeping by 2130. I got seven hours of sleep. For being such a hard ass, DS Boston does cool stuff for us. He wanted us to be well rested for this morning’s final PT test of basic.

I’m happy with my results. My push ups are the same as the last PT test, but I did 3 more that they didn’t count. My sit ups? I’m off the chart. I did 83, but for some reason, they gave me 93. I dropped about 40 secs from my two mile. I got the highest number of sit ups in the platoon. Maybe in the company (240 people)! I’m hoping my results are Burger King worthy.

We’ve been studying for EOCT for three days. I should be ok. After some EOCT prep, we had an obstacle course. It was a competition between the four platoons. Mad Dogs won, He he. Maybe it will make the DSs happy, which means we get stuff, which means we’re happy. Also, we did very well in the PT test. Only one platoon beat us, and it was only one point.

Damn, Boston is an *******. I can’t have any respect for a drill sergeant who doesn’t care about his privates. I asked him about my finance problem again, since it’s been a week and a half and not a G-damn thing has happened. He looked at me, gritted his teeth, and said, “This is the kind of thing that asses me. Get away from me Rossy, get away from me Rossy, get away from me Rossy.” The whole time he was pointing his finger a few inches from my face. What the ****? That’s the kind of **** that I was writing about yesterday. You volunteer for this **** and no one gives a **** about you. Damn, aside from being exhausted from the PT test, I was having a good day. Thanks, Boston. Piece of ****. Today is another E-1 pay day for me. Ask a ************ a simple question, and that’s what I get. I know I can fix that when I get to AIT, but I wanted to see if I could get it out of the way now. 13 more days of this ******** and I can see my people and start getting paid as an E-3, like stated in my freaking contract. My God! What freakin’ moron ****** my pay up? I sure would like to know. **** it. I’m not going to cause myself any more grief. I’ll wait for AIT, where I can communicate as a person. And yes, I WOULD like some cheese with that whine.

Boston let us have pie at dinner, since we did so well today. Wow. Now if he could only earn my respect back. I had pecan pie. It was eeeeexcellent. Still no $300 a month, but damn good.
